Megan and the first friend she made in Alaska, Katherine Our parish hosted a Thanksgiving dinner. As the head of The Daughters of St. Anne, I was involved in the cooking, so of course, I brought the whole family.
Hi, These are some views from the Southern part of Alaska. We drove down the Richardson Highway, stopped in Anchorage, drove onto the Seward Highway, stopped and hiked to the Exit Glacier. Then arriving in Seward, we took a cruise in Resurecction Bay.
It was beautiful!!! We made our trip through Denali National Park.
Mountains were all around us.
Jake got to see the Big Mouse. He has been going crazy seeing commercials for Chuck E Cheese.
We went to Build-a-Bear where the kids made a dog and a bear.
Just to make our trip exciting, we had a flat tire on the way home. good thing, we were only 10 minutes from Wasilla, a fairly big town with a Mr Lube tire repair.
About a month ago, Dwight and Megan attended a All-Military Father Daughter Ball. It was at a local fancy hotel. Megan led the conga line. There were chocolate fountains. Megan had a great time.
